Join Melissa, from Happy Mess Studio as we learn all about indigo. Participants will learn the basics of starting an indigo dye vat, Shibori techniques, and fun facts while making custom flour sack towels. (AKA the best dish towels ever!) Each student will get a set of 2 flour sack towels as well as 2 practice fabric swatches. All supplies included. For this indigo class, students are welcome to bring 1-2 items from home to include in the dye vat at the end of class. Please make sure they are made from natural fibers( cotton, silk, hemp, linen).
